- Anthology 1992-2010 (Deep Symmetry / Rough Trade)
Five studio-records
and one remix-album later it is time to put the wheel of history into
reverse: !distain have finished the forthcoming 2CD: "Anthology 1992-2010"
containing a "best of" compilation and many previously unreleased songs
- recorded between 1992 and 2009. Tracks like "Confession", "Conversation
Overkill", "Tears Of Joy", "Sex'n'Cross" and the DAC (German Alternative
Charts) top-ten-hit "Mandragore" are closely connected to the national
and international scenes of electronic music.
All of these songs are to be found on CD1 which contains 15 tracks from
all five studio-records plus three brand new songs recorded in 2009. CD2
includes previously unreleased audio-material only. For the very first
time, fans will be able to listen to two demos recorded by Oliver Faig
and Alexander Braun before the original line-up split. Three tracks from
the early days, composed by Braun have been re-recorded and produced by
French sound wizard Peter Rainman. A co-operation between Oliver Faig
and Manfred Thomaser from 1999 will be available for the first time, just
like other archive-songs and three brand new recordings from 2009. Up
to this CD2 contains four video-clips … two of them previously unreleased.
The "Anthology 1992-2010" will be released in January 2010.

Tibé, a.k.a. Manfred Thomaser. The member of Germany's
electro-pop-band !distain remixed twelve tracks, among them indie-classics
by In The Nursery, Das Ich, Catastrophe Ballet, Girls Under Glass and
Sara Noxx. Up to this Tibé remixed "Chaotic Brain" a !distain song
which has not been released up to now.
"Synthphony REMIXed! Vol. 8" is to be released as a double-cd. The second

Synthphony Records
is proud to present the release of a brand new !distain album. Germany's
famous electro-pop-band has finished all songs for the fifth studio-recording
in the history of the band. Three years after the release of "25 frames
a second" and one year after "Synthphony REMIXed: !distain" the new album
will be titled "Raise The Level".
"Raise The Level" contains eleven brand new tracks by Alexander Braun
and Manfred Thomaser. Up to this the album contains a cover-version of
"West End Girls" (Pet Shop Boys). "Raise The Level" has been produced
by DJ Ram, Ingo Nordloh and !distain.
The first edition will be released as a double cd. The second cd is called
"Mandragore e.p." and contains five previously unreleased remixes, the
rare "Time Code Mix" of "History Forecast" and four new !distain songs.
"Raise The Level" is to be released in August/September 2007. More info

original version and the remix of „Consequently“ are part
of the limited edition EP „The seed of beauty“. The cd will

Alexander Braun und Manfred Thomaser are actually working on the release
of the band's first remix-album. The longplayer will contain songs from
"Confession" to "Autumn Leaves
(25 Frames A Second)". Most of the vocals for this album have been
newly recorded. Release: 2006.
